We try to source our products from fair trade suppliers, but due to economic constraints this is not always possible. Where appropriate fairly traded items are so marked, this gives the purchaser the choice.
Fashion Accessories:- Barmah Hats; Rock & "Hippy" style hats, Beanie Hats, etc. Sunglasses; Cheap costume type jewellery, wristbands, gloves, head and neck scarves.

There are a few other minor lines too numerous to mention but they tend to fall into the main categories as listed above.
Whilst we mainly trade a bike rallies and festivals, we have in the past and still can trade at any type of event, any music genre (rock, folk, blues, jazz, etc) other shows, festivals or fairs.
Our Regularl stall itself is of the ridge style construction (see the about us pages for photo) The frontage is approx 20 foot (approx 6m) by 20 foot deep. including the Van (we are hoping to replace this with a purpose built trailer or caravan but the over all depth will be the same or slightly less. Note at some small shows we may bring another smaller stall of the traditional market type.
We are members of the nmtf (fairs branch) which provides us with the required public/products and employers liability insurance. (a copy of which we usuallly include with our application to trade at any event).
We accept Credit and Debit cards through our mobile terminal (subject to getting a suitable signal.)
Due to the time taken to set up we like to arrive at an event the day before it opens to the public. Breaking down is a lot quicker and we do not usually need to stay much beyond the end of trading on the last day. (depending on closing time).
We prefer to be able to stand on a ground where we can peg down (grass, or gravel etc) If we are on concrete or tarmac we need to source weights to stop the stall from blowing away if the wind gets up (particularly if the wind is blowing into the stall). If there is nothing availbale on site we will have to bring something. Possibly a water container. Therefore an adequate supply of water will need to be made available. Because if weight restrictions in the van it is not possible for us to brung our own heavy weights.
Normally the stall operates with 2 staff occasionally we may have 3 if we are expected to be busy or extra security is thought necessary.
We are a "full time" organisation so we operate around the events we are booked at. The stall is run as a business, not as a part time hobby, so we do not use the stall as an excuse to party and as a result we never fail to give our customers a good service.
This is the hard bit. We get numerous enquiries to trade at small club events but unfortunately these events are really too small to warrant a stall like ours. We have overheads to pay (diesel isn't cheap). We have therefore for economic reasons imposed an 800 limit to new events where we have never traded before....sorry! We may be seen at some smaller events (though these are getting fewer) but these are ones where we have been before and have found in the past that we can make a worthwhile profit.
We hope this information is useful, we have tried to include everything we can think of. Apologies for any omissions!! ahem! If you would still like to invite us to your event please let us know a little about your do.
